Dwayne Buckles is Account Executive with The Continuous Improvement Center and works with member clients to help them see substantial improvements in their overall bottom-line by reducing waste and concentrating on improving their overall safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity and cost reduction programs.
Dwayne has been an engineer, business development manager and account executive working with literally 100’s of companies in and around the South & Midwest over the past 20 years.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BSME in Mechanical Engineering. Dwayne began his career in manufacturing and engineering with both local and international companies with duties ranging from project management to design engineering and eventually sales for contract manufacturing companies supplying engineered components to the Tier I & Tier II Automotive, Appliance and Office Products Industries.
During his 7 years with American Express Corporate Services, Dwayne had an opportunity to work with Executives and Business Owners in Kentucky to help them improve their cash flow and reduce their accounts payable costs.
In 2009, Dwayne joined the Continuous Improvement Center to help our clients use Lean and Six Sigma tools to further streamline operations into easy to run and manage systems.
Dwayne is involved with many volunteer and community organizations including Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity and Toastmasters International. He also volunteers his time freely at his local church. In his spare time, Dwayne enjoys watching sports and being involved with his family and three active kids.
