Larry Porter is COO of The Continuous Improvement Center and has overall responsibility for the delivery of all our training, consulting and member services.
Larry is highly skilled in teaching and using Lean and Six Sigma process improvement tools as well as Leadership and Teambuilding principles to help businesses achieve great results in a very short time. Larry helps businesses see substantial improvements in their overall bottom-line by reducing waste and concentrating on improving their overall safety, quality, on-time delivery, productivity and cost reduction programs.
Larry has served over 20 years in the US Army and 10 years in the manufacturing sector.
During Operation Desert Strom Larry was awarded two Bronze Stars, one Bronze Star with combat “V” for valor in combat and another Bronze Star for distinguish leadership in combat.
Larry has a BS degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Business Management and is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. Larry has completed over 150 Lean Projects and assisted several companies in their Lean Transformation.
The Boy Scouts of America and church activities are a few of the volunteer organizations in which Larry is involved. He has provided service on many levels in the communities in which he has lived.

* Headquarter Company First Sergeant
* Tank Company First Sergeant
* Tank Platoon Sergeant (Operation Desert Storm / Shield)
* 2 AD Master Gunner
Current goals are to grow The Continuous Improvement Center to be an industry leader!
